Dating it Safe investigated longitudinal associations between forms of teen dating violence perpetration and victimization in a cohort of adolescents in Houston, Texas, United States of America. Participants were freshmen high school students aged 15 years on average, residing in Houston, Texas, whose parents gave informed consent for the study. At baseline, over 1,000 teens were included in the study. Participants were followed up seven times over the seven years of the study.
