The DCH-NG study aims to investigate the trans-generational factors influencing cancer and other non-communicable diseases. This study is an extension of the original DCH cohort, including children and grandchildren of the initial participants, as well as the other parents of the grandchildren. Specifically, the participants included over 23,000 children, 13,000 grandchildren, and 8,000 other parents from the greater Copenhagen and Aarhus areas between 2015 and 2019. As part of this study, 720 participants are included in the sub-study of KKHG-NG MAX, where individuals provided more detailed information on dietary habits over a year between 2017 and 2019. Follow-up of the remaining participants is ongoing through linkage processes and other methods, with the next round of follow-ups beginning at the end of 2024.
