DIAZ aimed to investigate the prevalence, profile, and survivorship of patients on dialysis in Zimbabwe. The study recruited adult patients from 16 private and public dialysis units in Zimbabwe who commenced dialysis between 1 February 2018 and 28 February 2019. Over 300 participants were recruited into the study. Participants were followed up for up to 12 months until 29 February 2020.
