Donor InSight is a longitudinal study aiming to gain understanding on blood donor health and behaviour, towards improving donor care in the Netherlands. The first wave nested within Donor InSight, known as the DS-I, contained 31,338 participants, with additional participation involved in the second follow-up (DS-II) to 34,829 participants. Selected participants were further assessed in DS-III, with on-going data collection of all participants as of 2024 through external databases and public registries.
