DOC*X is a nationwide occupational health and safety database containing a large number of register data on the Danish working population from 1970 to 2015. The cohort includes approximately 6.4 million individuals aged 16 and above, employed and living in Denmark in 1970 and from 1976 to 2015. The register-based nature of the cohort ensures yearly follow-up on occupations and continuous follow-up on most outcomes from 1970 to 2015 and onwards.
