Sample details

DOC*X-Generation is a large register-based occupational cohort with national coverage of parents and offspring born in Denmark. The cohort includes all (around 3.5 million) hospital-admitted miscarriages, induced abortions, and births conceived between 1977 and 2018 among 1.5 million female employees in The Danish Occupational Cohort (DOC*X). Of the 3.5 million pregnancies, approximately 2.5 million resulted in live-born children, including 80, 224 twins, 2,161 triplets, and 80 quadruplets. All pregnancies and live-born children are followed up continuously through linkage with Danish registers, with the oldest children being followed-up until they are around 40 years old.
