Sample details

DRIVERS aimed to study the progression of cognitive and functional decline up to one year after surviving a stroke in adult Nigerians. Between 2017 and 2019, the study recruited adults who had survived an ischaemic or hemorrhagic stroke without subsequent aphasia or severe conditions such as coma, seizures, etc. The study followed 150 participants quarterly from one week after the stroke until a year post-stroke.
