The DRUE database was established as a part of “The National Study of Young Brain Injury Survivors” and aimed to gather systematic national data on the functional outcome among young Danish acquired brain injury (ABI) survivors. The DRUE cohort included 15 to 30-year-old patients with an ABI who were referred by a doctor to an outpatient neurorehabilitation clinic in Denmark between 2013 and 2017. Data was collected at baseline and at a one-year follow-up. A total of 607 patients completed the baseline assessment and questionnaire, while 471 patients participated in the follow-up assessments.
