The DHZW Graduate Panel series investigates the long-term educational and professional trajectories of higher education graduates in Germany. The 1989 Graduate Panel recruited university graduates who obtained their first degree from a German university in 1989. At baseline, over 12,000 graduates participated in the study. Data were collected from participants twice: once within a year after graduation, from 1989 to 1990, and again 3 years later, between 1992 and 1993.
