The DHZW Graduate Panel series investigates the long-term educational and professional trajectories of higher education graduates in Germany. The 1997 Graduate Panel recruited university graduates who obtained their first degree from a German university in 1997. At baseline, over 9,000 graduates participated in the study. Data were collected from participants three times: one year after graduation in 1998, 5 years later in 2003, and finally in 2008.
