The DHZW Graduate Panel series investigates the long-term educational and professional trajectories of higher education graduates in Germany. The 2009 Graduate Panel recruited university graduates who obtained their first degree from a German university in 2009. At baseline, over 10,000 graduates participated in the study. Data were collected from participants three times: between 2010 and 2011, 5 years later in 2015, and finally in 2019. A subset of participants who indicated that they had begun doctoral studies in the baseline sweep completed an additional in-depth data collection in 2015.
