Sample details

The EDILS cohort aimed to conduct a comprehensive assessment of clinical and biological features in patients with well-characterised eating disorders. Around 250 participants with a diagnosed eating disorder were recruited from hospital admissions at Rouen University Hospital, France. Over 200 control participants were also recruited from a volunteer registry at the same hospital. Baseline assessment began in 2015 and participants were followed up every three months for one year, and every six months for the following two years. Biosamples were collected at baseline, 18 months and 36 months.
