The EHF-AHI cohort aimed to examine the associations between environmental exposure to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and thyroid hormone levels in mothers and newborns in Tel Aviv, Israel. From January 2013 through April 2015, 263 mother-father-newborn triads were recruited. The women recruited into the study were asked to participate during attendance in the delivery room.
