Sample details

Growing Up in Wales is a prospective birth cohort study investigating the impact of gestational and postnatal environmental risk factors on infant health and development across the life course. A total of 819 families were identified within the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University (ABMU) Health Board by approaching pregnant women at antenatal clinics. Participant families resided in and around the City of Swansea, UK, and participated in a baseline visit between November 2009 to March 2015.
