Sample details

ELPI is a longitudinal survey aimed at tracking the life trajectories and developmental factors of a sample of children from birth. The sample consisted of 30,000 children born between January 1, 2006, and August 31, 2009 in Chile, selected from birth records, with an intentional oversampling to reach a target of 15,000 children for representativeness. The sample was chosen to represent all children born within this timeframe.
