Engage COVID-19 was designed to document COVID-19 infection, immunity, and related determinants among gay and bisexual men (GBM). The study is part of the larger Engage Cohort Study, which investigates trends in the use of anti-retroviral-based human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) prevention. All Engage-COVID-19 participants were recruited from the larger Engage Cohort Study, resulting in over 1,800 participants at baseline from across the 3 study sites in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal, Canada. At baseline, participants were at least 17 years old and self-identified as GBM, including transgender GBM, who reported having sex with another man within the previous 6 months.
