EPAD LCS aims to deeply phenotype individuals at risk of Alzheimer’s dementia (AD) and also to act as a trial-ready cohort for AD prevention trials. The cohort includes over 2,000 participants, recruited mainly from existing cohorts in 10 countries across Europe. Participants were over 50 years old, and without a diagnosis of dementia at recruitment from 2016 to 2019. The participants were followed-up annually to complete a range of comprehensive physical and psychological assessments for up to 4 years.
