EPIC-Europe studies different populations from countries across Europe to investigate the relationships between diet, nutrition, lifestyle, and environmental factors, and the incidence of cancer and other chronic diseases. The EPIC-Norfolk cohort comprises over 25,000 participants aged 40 to 79 years, resident in Norfolk, United Kingdom, recruited between 1993 and 1997. Participants have been followed up through mailed questionnaires, repeat visits, and record linkage.
