The EPITeenn study was designed with the aim of understanding how habits and behaviours acquired during adolescence will reflect on adult health. The cohort of the EPITeen study is made up of nearly 3,000 participants, aged 13 years at recruitment, who were identified through school registries. The participants were born in 1990 and have been followed since 2003. After baseline data collection, the participants were followed up at ages 17, 21, 24, and 27 years.
