Échantillon Permanent Steekproef (EPS)
EPS is a longitudinal dataset of a randomly sampled cohort of health insured individuals in Belgium, consisting of three types of databases; demographics, reimbursed health care procedures, and reimbursed medication. The data are available in separate datasets per calendar year. The aim of the EPS is to make the administrative data of the health insurance funds permanently available to a number of federal and regional partners. In 2019, the database included approximately 341,000 persons.
