Sample details

The Ethiopia Socioeconomic Survey 2018/19 is a nationally representative household panel of over 6,800 households in Ethiopia. Households were selected for inclusion from listings of geographic areas in Ethiopia used for census administration. Whilst the previous Ethiopia Socioeconomic Survey, commencing in 2011, followed a household panel over three waves, this study consists of a new panel acting as a baseline survey for the next waves of the Ethiopia Socioeconomic Survey and does not follow up from the previous waves.
