The EstBB is a population-based biobank cohort that currently comprises over 212, 000 individuals; representing around 20% of the adult population in Estonia. Participant enrolment is ongoing since 2000, and open to individuals over 18 years from all 15 Estonian countries. After initial baseline assessments and biospecimen collection, the cohort participants are followed-up via linkage with national electronic databases and registries.
