Edinburgh Type 2 Diabetes Study (ET2DS)

ET2DS is a population-based cohort study of over 1,000 adults aged between 60 and 75 years and living with type 2 diabetes in Lothian, Scotland, as of 1st August 2006. Participants were recruited from patients recorded as having type 2 diabetes in the Lothian Diabetes Register, a computerised database containing clinical details of patients known to be living with disease in the region.
