ETMED-L was designed to investigate the evolution of interpersonal competency and mental health over the course of medical school in a population of students in Switzerland. The study recruited medical students in years 1 to 6 at the University of Lausanne in Lausanne, Switzerland. Over 900 students participated in the first data collection sweep in March 2021, with the participant number growing to over 1,000 in the second and third sweeps in November 2021 and November 2022. Participants will be followed up yearly until the study ends.
