The FAMILY Cohort is a territory-wide cohort study in Hong Kong that aims to understand the health, happiness, and harmony (encompassing physical, mental, and social well-being) of individuals and their households, as well as neighbourhoods in which they live in a society undergoing rapid social and economic change. The cohort recruited families residing in Hong Kong who could understand and respond to the Cantonese survey. All family members 10 years or older were eligible to participate, resulting in over 46,000 participants from 20,279 families.
