The FePsy Study aimed to screen participants and assess their risk of psychosis. A total of 234 individuals were screened, of which 91 were already psychotic, 106 were identified as individuals at-risk, and 37 were found to be at no increased risk of psychosis. The study planned to follow the participants for a minimum of 5 years at varying intervals, depending on psychosis-risk. Of the individuals at-risk, 41.4% were female and the mean age was 26.8 years. Among the first-episode patients, 27.8% were female and their mean age was 31.1 years.
