The FilaBavi HDSS was set up in 1999 to implement a longitudinal epidemiological surveillance system in the Bavi District, Hatay Province, Vietnam, to generate basic health and healthcare data. Around 60,000 individuals across 12,300 households in the demographic surveillance area were included as of 2014.
