Frailty and Mental Health Disorders Before and During COVID-19 Occurrence in Older Population in Iran

This study used telephone interviews to assess the physical and mental health of 517 individuals aged 60 years and above who were contaminated with coronavirus throughout five pandemic waves in Farzanegan Daily Caring Foundation (FDCF) in the south of Iran between March 2020 and September 2021. Each interview was conducted at the beginning of each of the five pandemic waves (April 2020, July 2020, November 2020, May 2021, and September 2021). In mid-2021, the average age of contributors was 76.6 years, and 59.6% were female.
