The GAP Study is a longitudinal study on pre-clinical Alzheimer’s disease in Spain. The study includes 187 healthy individuals and 38 with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The control group involves middle-aged to elderly individuals without memory complaints, while the MCI group includes those with relevant memory complaints and cognitive function below average, with both groups demonstrating autonomy in daily activities. Follow-up was scheduled every 3 years for a minimum of 12 years, and the first 3-year follow-up was completed in June 2015.
