The Gaza Infant Study followed a cohort of over 500 Palestinian women from the Gaza Strip between August 2013 and March 2015. Participants were recruited in their second trimester of pregnancy when attending maternal clinics in 10 governmental primary health care centres, which represented the five Gaza Strip governorates. Participants were followed up until their infants were 12 months old.
