The GBS e-cohort includes 2.8 million United Kingdom adults and was established to quantify the impact of natural environments on mental health and wellbeing in Wales, United Kingdom. It is an e-cohort with national household-level longitudinal environment metrics collected annually for 1.4 million residences, which are linked to longitudinal electronic health records (updated quarterly). A subgroup of 5,312 survey responses on visits to outdoor spaces and wellbeing is also linked. The dynamic cohort design allows new people to enter the cohort each quarter as they reach the age of 16 or move into Wales.
