Sample details

The GAGE study follows individuals in developing countries to understand what works to enhance adolescent capabilities and empowerment. In Bangladesh, GAGE recruited 780 adolescents - ages 10-12 and 15-17 at baseline (2017-2018) - and their caregivers. The participants were drawn from two peri-urban slum areas and one low-income settlement in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Participants and their caregivers were followed up in 2020-2021.
