The GAGE study follows individuals in several developing countries. In Jordan, GAGE explores young people’s capabilities and how the opportunities and risks they face vary as they move from adolescence to young adulthood. The cohort includes over 4,000 Syrian, Jordanian, Palestinian, Bani Murra and Turkmen adolescents, aged 10-12 and 15-17 years at baseline in 2018-2019, living in Jordanian host communities, formal refugee camps, or informal tented settlements, as well as female caregivers. Participants were followed up in 2020-2021, 2022-2023, and 2024-2025.
