The GENEIDA cohort follows 800 mother-child pairs since the first trimester of pregnancy (12–13 weeks of gestation) in 2014. The cohort was recruited in the Poniente region of Almeria, one of the most important intensive agricultural areas in Spain. The cohort has been followed up across development and through several research projects within the study.
