The Global Findex Database is a public database of indicators measuring people's use of financial services across economies and over time. Data from interviews with approximately 150,000 participants across over 140 countries has been collected in 2011, 2014, 2017, and 2021. A variety of sampling and recruitment methods were utilised for data collection, such as random digit dialling and random sampling of households.
