The GOMS aims to compile information on the occupational mobility of university and college graduates in the labour market for about 44 months after graduation. Participants were recent graduates from two- to three-year colleges and four-year universities in South Korea, excluding foreign students. Approximately 18,000 people were interviewed each year, the year following their graduation. They were then followed up with another interview 2 years after baseline assessment. The study collected longitudinal data from participants who graduated in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. From 2011, graduates only completed a cross-sectional survey the year following graduation and were not followed up longitudinally.
