BACK
Sample details

GROUP is multi-site longitudinal cohort study investigating genetic and environmental factors contributing to the expression of psychosis in individuals with psychotic disorders, their unaffected family members, and non-related healthy controls. Individuals diagnosed with a non-affective psychotic disorder and aged 16 - 50 years old, were recruited through 36 mental health care institutes across the Netherlands and Belgium. The cohort also comprises siblings and parents of the participants, and a healthy control group of individuals without any first- or second-degree relatives with a psychotic disorder. Participants were assessed at baseline (first wave), 3-year (second wave), and 6-year (third wave) follow-ups.
