Sample details

Participants for the GSA project were recruited from the Finnish Central Population Registry. Approximately 57% of the respondents were women, and the sample was comprised of over 6,500 twins and their older siblings. Each of the four waves of data collection recruited from the registry, meaning there was a subsample of repeated participants at each collection.
