The GUIE longitudinal dataset includes approximately 7.4 million participants aged 10 to 25 as of August 31, 2011, all residing in England. Participants were identified by linking 2011 Census records to the All Education Dataset for England (AEDE), covering those enrolled in government-funded education or non-government-funded further education between the 2001/02 and 2014/15 academic years. The dataset includes demographic, geographic, household, and educational information, as well as vulnerability indicators such as Free School Meals eligibility, Children in Need status, Children Looked After status, absences, and exclusions. The study consists of multiple waves: Wave 1 covers standard education records, while Wave 2 includes specific education and care data with additional statistical disclosure rules.
