H-PEACE was a retrospective, population-based cohort study designed to investigate potential biomarkers for predicting the development of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in an average-risk population in South Korea. The study collected retrospective data from over 91,000 Koreans who received a health check-up between October 2003 and December 2014 at the Healthcare System Gangnam Center, Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea. The participants were followed up with comprehensive medical assessments, conducted as part of regular health check-ups, as well as through linkage, to track the development of the new diseases and mortality.
