Sample details

The overall aim of HAPP-e is to assess the feasibility of recruiting and following up an e-cohort of adults born preterm to better understand the consequences of prematurity in adulthood. Participants are adults aged 18 years and older who were born preterm (less than 37 weeks of gestation) and who have access to the internet and an email address. The questionnaires are available in English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Spanish, and the study is open to anyone around the world. Baseline assessment began in 2019, and participants completed a follow-up in 2020, with plans to follow up annually.
