The HCP-A Study aims to understand how individual experiences influence brain connectivity and how these connections (the “connectome”) change across healthy adulthood. Participants are healthy adults aged 36 to 100+ years, recruited from four states in the United States of America (Washington, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and California) starting in 2017. A subset of participants are completing a follow-up assessment 20–24 months after baseline. As of 2021, data has been collected from 725 participants, with the goal of recruiting over 1,500 participants.
