The Health and Wellbeing Cohort Study follows the mental and physical health of United Kingdom veterans of the 2003 Iraq war. The study includes United Kingdom armed forces personnel, excluding special forces and high-security personnel, who had served in Operation TELIC 1 (Operation Telic order of battle), as well as a military group who had not (deployed and non-deployed, respectively). Cohort members were from either the Royal Navy including Royal Marines, the Army, or the Royal Air Force (RAF).
