The HERMES study investigated the potential effects of mobile phone use and radiofrequency electromagnetic field (RF-EMF) exposure on behavioural and cognitive outcomes. This study involved 439 adolescents aged 12 to 17 years from Switzerland. From 2012, participants were recruited through phone contact with schools and informational visits to classes. Participants were followed up one year after baseline data collection.
