The HMV-NL is a registry of all patients on home mechanical ventilation across different regions of the Netherlands, collecting treatment and outcome related data. With approximately 4,000 participants as of 2024, the registry includes a diverse cohort in terms of age, gender, and medical conditions such as neuromuscular disorders and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Participants are followed up every year to monitor and improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
