Sample details

The Hong Kong Hospital Authority's Information Architecture was developed in 2002 to build a fast, robust, flexible electronic patient record from data captured in various systems. Records include individuals' fetal data as entered in their mother's record to facilitate data coverage across the life course. As of 2004, the Information Architecture integrated data from over 6 million patients from all inpatient and outpatient facilities under the Hospital Authority.
