The HTP study is a United States of America-based longitudinal cohort study designed to comprehensively investigate the biology of Down syndrome by integrating biospecimens, multi-omics, and detailed clinical data. Since 2016, 1,290 individuals have been recruited. Participants include those with Down syndrome, their family members and matched euploid controls, ranging in age from 6 months to 89 years. Recruitment has been conducted through clinical partnerships and community outreach led by the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome at the University of Colorado. Participants are followed at multiple time points over several years, with follow-up frequency varying by study aims and individual availability.
