ICTUS, as part of the Stroke and Cognition consortium (STROKOG), aims to investigate the determinants of vascular contributions to cognitive disorders to improve diagnosis and treatment. Since 2021, ICTUS has been recruiting participants aged 18 to 75 years who have recently experienced a stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) from three centres in Spain. The study aims to recruit 75 participants and 35 control participants. Participants are followed up at three, six, and 12 months and yearly for a further two years.
