The IDI collates and makes available de-identified microdata about people and households in New Zealand. The data is gathered from a variety of agencies and institutions across New Zealand and focuses broadly on housing, health, education and training, benefits and social services, justice and the judicial system, people and communities, income and work, and population statistics. The dataset includes the entire New Zealand population regardless of age. Participants are continuously followed up through administrative data.
