IeDEA-WA gathers routinely collected data available from participating human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) programs on persons living with HIV initiating antiretroviral therapy (ART) across several countries in West Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, and Togo. Data has been obtained from over 33,000 participants attending 17 care and treatment facilities across the participating countries. Data is based primarily on medical records obtained as part of routine patient care.
